Experience on the C-130 aircraft.Be a graduate Aeronautical Engineer from an accredited program with a working knowledge of aircraft parts design. Have an understanding and workable knowledge of mechanical,hydraulic, electrical and thermal installations and assessment procedures used for aircraft evaluation.Five to Ten years experience in Armed Forces Specialty Code or equivalent is required.Three (3) years of the five to ten years experience must have been in performing or supervising functions such as aircraft interception and surveillance and training. Must have been E-3 mission crew Instructor qualified within the last two (2) years.Airframe and Powerplant license a plus. Typically a person in this position will have 707 airframe experience.Ten (10) years experience in the aircraft maintenance field, of which at least four (4) years have been on the C-130 aircraft, is mandatory. Experience in the inspection of C-130 “E” or “H” model aircraft is desirable. At least one (1) year experience with PC word processing and spreadsheet programs is preferred.
