SAFRA is not just another recreation club.It was formed in 1972 with the objective of helping the SAF build morale and camaradarie amongst NSmen to foster a cohesive fighting force.since then, SAFRA has grown into a prominent organisation with a network of clubs to provide quality social, recreational, sports and educational facilities for NSmen and their families.SAFRA clubs are strategically located at Jurong, Mount Faber, Tampines, Toa Payoh and Yishun. SAFRA also has, Game Haven, it’s Ultimate ePlayground located at Carpenter Street.Complementing these modern facilities are a host of value-added membership benefits and activities to meet the lifestyle needs of more than 201,000 SAFRA members.Over the years, SAFRA has organised various mass based events like Swing Singapore, SAFRA Singapore Bay Run, National Sports Climbing Championship, Singapore Biathlon and National Runway Cycling & Skating for NSmen and the public in support of national objectives. Recent additions to these events include Avventura and Quadthlon.
